Re-cap in Pics I

I think the only smile and most alert she was on Sunday...when her sister came to visit for dinner!

They were both really happy to see eachother...it was sweet.

We used the wagon to walk downstairs to McDonalds for dinner, to see if we could somehow convince McKenzie to start eating or drinking...no dice. But, Uncle Ryan did pull Mason along for a ride anyway!

This pretty much epitomizes her stay in the hospital...just downright miserable. Its tough as a parent to be so helpless. :(

Oh, day two was so incredibly miserable for her, as if surgery wasn't enough!! They took the catheter and balloon out of her bladder and she could not pee all day/evening, despite the rock hard belly...here we sit, trying every little thing we could think of to get her to pee, before they had to re-catheterize her already traumatized private area...it was horrible. She screamed, I cried, and the nurses were even a little teary - all six that it took (plus me) to hold her her for the cath...Ugh, my stomach knots back up just thinking back...

One miserable little monkey...thank goodness for morophine.

This was the catheter from surgery, with the balloon up in her bladder..the red...yes, that was her pee...for an entire week after surgery - all red. :(

Friday night (day of surgery) after we got into her room...still not really awake at all...

Her precious little hand with the IV, which the next day we needed to tape to a board to keep her from pulling it out. The board was her "arm's bed."

Still sleeping after surgery...

Our sweet baby...

Loving her "new jammies" before surgery...not a single clue what lay ahead (fortunately)...

Breakfast of Champions on surgery morning...popcicles and jello!
