Night two in a big girl bed went off without a hitch. Now naptime with two girls in room yesterday was unsuccessful, however one two year old in one room seems to be working just fine...so far. :)
Uh oh, apparently she wasn't totally asleep yet...
But apparently ready to be!!
She is definitely sad about her crib leaving today though. Several times she has told us that someone took her crib away and she has the saddest poutiest face. :( "Although she is becoming a little girl, she still has a little baby left in her, and I'm quite sure that I'm not ready to let that go yet... :(
We did kind of feel like a furniture outlet today though - we had someone here picking up the bunk beds when the family came to pick up the nursery, and then our old sleigh bed went after that - so it was about three hours of furniture moving and many strangers around, full bedrooms became empty ones, and she did tell me a few times in the afternoon, long after all was said and done "no want more people at my house, mommy." So, safe to assume she was a little overwhelmed with the change in the rooms she and her sister are now living in...but new furniture now comes Friday...so it will be fun to get everything set up this weekend!!

ok, did you really think that your great sleeper would go away overnight?!? It might be another week or 2 before she figures out that she can actually get out on her own...:)
well, i am HOPEFUL that she will follow in mason's footsteps...mason would call from her bed when she got up until maybe six months ago - but still when she naps, she goes to her door, peeks her head out and asks if she can get up yet. so she gave mck a good talkin' to about how you don't get out of bed w/out asking, etc...so i am crossing my fingers that a little bit sunk in????
