Not much to report here...Its been a "business as usual" week for us. Having Paul around so much more has been great for the girls, and fun all around. Taking advantage of it while we have it. We had Mason's pre-elementary (would be kindergarten in a public school structure) parent's night last night - holy crow. Those kids are going to learn a lot this year! They are already working on the reading basics (they call it "blending"), but they expect that most of them will be reading by the end of the school year, at least on the basic level. Wow. Also discussing beginning cursive writing towards the end of the school year? What? She's 4 1/2! Anyway, we will have a lot of homework each night and I am a little intimidated by that - not sure how exactly we will carve out time for that on a daily basis, but we will.
Anyway, Mason also begins her last session of swim lessons next week - Ms. Linda planned on the last day being yesterday - but with a lot of begging by the moms & a few tears from Mason, we convinced her ONE MORE TIME! Just our little class though - so two more weeks - and then its McKenzie's turn next summer. Yay!
Last uninteresting tidbit...McK has both her VCUG appt and GI appt next week (Wed/Thurs), so I will keep ya'll posted on how that goes...
