Mason...getting to school this morning in anticipation of her field trip to Camp Pendleton today - one of the 4th of July activities they are doing to "celebrate the nation's birthday" she will tell you. The Marines will be serving them lunch as well. Sounds like a good trip for the preschoolers.
McKenzie crashed out this afternoon, as she worked herself into a frenzy when we went for her x-rays at the hospital. Somehow, she sensed where we were when we were registering, even though we were at our local hospital and not Children's, and spent 30 minutes clutching me saying "no no no no no no no". I think she exhausted herself emotionally. Poor little monkey...if only she knew what awaits her tomorrow. :(
