Quick visit with the Pierces

The girls and I kicked off the 4th of July weekend with a visit to the Pierce campsite in Carlsbad. Its great when your friends camp 5 minutes from your house!! The girls both had parties and parades at school, so I picked them up at 3 pm and we headed over there. We hung out in the chilly sand, BBQ'd, enjoyed some beers in disguise on the beach, and ofcourse topped it off with s'mores and the long anticipated wagon ride, pulled by Doug while the kids yelled "faster Doug, faster!"
