While it doesn't compare to a tank...

the Independence Day parade at MSO was still pretty cute today...

Loaded up and ready to roll...

Getting ready for the parade!

The last picture provided a quick flashback to the McKenzie of June...Not sure why she was crying, perhaps she knew a trip to the ped was just a few minutes away...?
Medical Update: Uneventful doctor's visit today. We had been told they would do the catheterized urine test again - but instead he gave me the option of doing that, or trying to "bag" her first - if the "bagged" test comes back abnormal they will have to do the cath test again (which sucks). She's pretty traumatrized as soon as she sees a nurse or doctor right now - so we decided to try the non-invasive approach and see what our results are. We also got our orders for the tests we need to do at Children's, but she has to have been off her antibiotics for 2-5 weeks before we do them - so we have some breathing room! Otherwise, unless we get abnormal results from this urine test, we are in a holding pattern for the time being. A welcome respite I think she would tell you, if she could.
At this moment, she is sleeping with a bag glued to her hoohaw...seriously, it is glued (water soluable glue I assume) on and the bag is long, they cut a hole in her diaper and pull the bag thru, and it hangs out the leg of her shorts. Oddly enough, she hasn't even noticed it yet. However, I have to keep checking on her while she naps - when she pees, we have to get her up and to the ped's office so they can take it off. This parenting thing...great fun! :)
