We had been thinking maybe an engineer or an architect, as she seems to be captivated by buildings under construction right now, although she will tell you she wants to be a dentist or a baby doctor...But her new passion of the moment is...weeding? She'll maybe be a...gardner one day?
Paul did yard work yesterday and after Mason got up from her nap, she volunteered to help him weed. This isn't the first time, but he's tried to coach her to pull from the root, instead of just taking the tops off of the weeks. For some reason she really enjoys the weeding - not sure how much of it is the weeding, as opposed to the accolades she gets from daddy for doing his dirty work! :) Anyway, she was fired up and did some weeding, even up on the hill, before and again after dinner.
Just before bedtime she got a minor scolding for something and Paul asked her if she wanted to go back out and weed some more (expecting this would shift her to comply with whatever it was she had been asked to do), backfire...immediately, she said "Yes"...Oh, Babci would be so proud.
Break time to give Gunner a little belly rub.
Hard at work up on the hill...
A few heart attacks were had by me as she slid down the hill a few times - not a safe place for her to navigate...
Showing off her weeds. Love the outfit too - she had dressed herself to begin with - then switched from flip flops to her golashes for weeding...nice.
