Kicking Off Halloween Week

We finally were able to get out of the house a bit today - still a little smokey, but the afternoon actually turned out to be quite nice. After being couped up all week indoors, people were finally starting to come out of their houses to let their kids burn some engery...and we were one of those families. We traveled a few blocks up to the Toland's house for their neighborhood Halloween party on the greenbelt. We stopped to visit Zeuss, the ever so friendly horse, then off to the party where Mason enjoyed a tractor ride, bobbing for apples and batting at a pinata. The kids were all running wild - enjoying the space - as were we parents. Paul was under the weather, so he and a napping McKenzie stayed home, but Mason had a great kick-off to Halloween week!!
