Garden Party with Grandma!
Mason and Grandma had a project to complete this week. After a trip to Home Depot for supplies on Wednesday, they were ready to get down and dirty Thursday after school...planting flowers. Mason picked out a plethera of beautiful flowers and together they planted them in three little terracota planters - and Mason will be the caregiver of these little guys. One of the practical life skills they do at Montessori is "plant care" - so she is very adept at watering, cleaning and pruning (she trims the brown edges off leaves with dull scissors) her plants. She loves it, hopefully she's inherited Babci's green thumb...we shall see.
Whatever the end result, they had a blast and we have beautiful flowers...at least for now. :)
